Product Description

English Oak Live Edge Resin Infill Executive Desk

Our solid English Pippy Oak slabs originate from circa 100 year old Oak trees naturally felled in the grounds of Muncaster castle in West Cumbria.

Our kiln dried 60-85mm (Chunky!) solid wood slab has been gracefully finished to provide a progressive yet elegant design. With its rustic live edge and raw industrial steel leg arrangement this is a desk with a unique personality and inimitable characteristics. Knots and internal splitting is accentuated with black resin to enhance the organic beauty of the wood.

The desk top is finely sanded and oiled as part of the professional finishing service. Featuring our own custom set of steel legs, carefully calibrated to the size of the table to provide maximum stability and allow for the inherent movement of the timber. 

Everything done in-house.

The steel legs are constructed from 75mm x 25mm box section. Other leg types are available on request.

Artisan Made

British hardwoods are abundant with rustic features and radiant colours. We sourced this English Oak from a beautiful nature reserve in the grounds of Muncaster Castle in West Cumbria. As well as Pippy Oak we can also source more niche species such as Brown Oak, Hornbeam, Sycamore, Ash, Sweet Chestnut, Acacia and Yew. Our trained artisans always work with the timber to get the most out of every solid wood top.

Steel Legs

Metal Specialists

Surface support is an integral part of our offer and expertise. Our legs and bases are calibrated to the parameters of the wooden top and balanced to complement its aesthetic requirements. The specialised plates provide a powerful foundation and facilitate the innate movement of the timber. Forged by a blacksmith with over 30 years of experience in West Cumbria.

Our heavy duty box section legs come in Clear Coat or Matte Black powder coat finish.

Delivery

In stock - Dispatched within 2-3 Weeks via either a Pallet Curb side delivery or white glove courier service.

Pallet network will deliver within 24 hours of collection from our workshop to the curbside at your shipping address. Please ensure you have access for a HGV if choosing this delivery option. 

Our White glove courier to deliver within 3 to 10 working days after collection from our workshop. If there is a delay we will notify you as soon as possible.

We are currently experiencing very high demand and because of this, we are unable to offer any updates to your order until the goods are with the delivery company.
