Product Description

Introducing our stunning 80-100 year-old elm wood miniature rustic milking stools from our rustic stool collection.

These quality little rustic stools made it into the Acumen Collection due to their rarity, stunning authentic features, and versatility. They are the perfect stylist’s prop giving height to interior displays and allowing you to play with levels.

Each one of these stools is totally unique in size, construction, and level of rustic wear. Please do not expect your stool to look exactly the same as shown in the images or that the dimensions below will be exact. This is why we give all customers access to galleries of available stock, to try and ensure you the perfect stool for your home.

The surface wear and patina is consistent with their age, there is no structural damage as they have been lovingly restored to perfect working order, providing you with a rustic wooden stool that is very sturdy and doesn't wobble.

Finish

All of our miniature stools are unique and have had their own practical journey through life. We are told that most will have been used by children to sit on in Chinese schools. Finish wise, the lighter or bleached look stool has spent most of its useful life outdoors with exposure to the sun. On the other hand, our darker brown stools are indicative of stools that have spent most of their useful life indoors with less sun and more moisture in the atmosphere.

The rustic wear on the stools extends to indentations, scratches, repairs, historically treated woodworm holes, paint splashes and areas of scorching. We feel this adds character to our stools but in case you specifically do not want any of these features please drop us an email before or after ordering and we will endeavour to send you your preferred style.
